Typical Pats Fan

Typical Pats fan? What does that even mean? Every time time I talk about my teams ups and downs and things that shouldn't have been, I'm always told that I'm a "typical Pats fan". As of recently I thought about this statement, this over used term, and I finally figured out what it means.

Whether people like to admit it or not, the New England Patriots have been the most dominant team in the NFL since 2001. We have the most dominant quarterback. We have the best coach. We have won games with big name players, and we have won games with guys like Reche Caldwell, and won the Super Bowl with guys like David Givens. But who are they? They were never heisman trophy winners. They weren't rated high on Madden. They sure as hell weren't on my fantasy football team. What the fuck? Down the line we were eventually called cheaters. That's awesome. when a team is so successful there comes hate. Hate brings upon rumors, and rumors cause people to nit pick. Nit picking is where any hater can find a little piece of dirt and make a big deal out of it. Spygate? Yeah we were caught. Belichick said he didn't know it was illegal. The video of games were prior to the Super Bowl championship. There were no links to them cheating in the Super Bowl or any other game and I believe.

That's why I'm a typical Pats fan.

I hate the Jets and Rex Ryan. I do believe that Rex Ryan is a good thing for the Jets football team, but an annoying POS for the rest of football. He came into the spotlight with his foot fetish and said to the world that, "he's not here to kiss Belichick's rings". That's great Ryan. For the past 3 years you haven't been kissing Bill's rings or your own for that matter because just like the Philadelphia Eagles in the mid 2000's, you can't win a Conference Championship game. Yeah you take pride in beating us which is fine. All that extra effort to just fail in the end makes you look more pathetic than anything. You waltzed in, took your shot at all of the teams in the NFL and still have nothing to show for it. Yeah you beat us last year but we at least get an AFC East Championship banner haha. I'm a very arrogant Patriots fan against the Jets since I live in New Jersey.

That's why I'm a typical Pats fan.

Living in New Jersey doesn't mean I only deal with Jets fans. Ohhh no, I have to deal with Giants fans and their never-ending happiness of being Super Bowl 42 champions. Yeah we were beat fair and square. I still stick by the injury reports though. Tom Brady did have a high ankle injury and he was wearing an air cast on it for two weeks prior to the Super Bowl. Of course everyone believed that it was fake and it was some kind of tactic of Bill Belichick. Wrong, Brady was injured. No excuses though. I've made them in the past about how Brady was unstoppable in the regular season. He was accurate, dominant, amazing etc... Then he gets injured against the Chargers in the AFC Championship game. He all of a sudden sucked against the Giants? Credit to Giants D? Absolutely. Did Tom Brady's injury have a MAJOR impact on their loss? Absolutely!

That's why I'm a typical Pats fan.
